Biplab Ghosh is a multi-award winning, well-known poet and author who has several best selling Bengali books to his credit. MY LIFE MY WAY is his first English book written in an autobiographical format about his chequered life, marked at every step by love and loss.
He started his life as managing director of a pharmaceutical company and then took up his pen to take to readers various experiences he encountered on his journey — be it the women who came at various junctures, real life stories of people, losing his only son Sunny to a drowning accident at Bakkhali Sea in front of his eyes, death of his elder daughter in 2020 to an incurable disease. Ghosh has faced it all. Yet he knew life must move on and penned several inspirational stories and poetry books like Chhinna Patar Shajai Toroni, Tobu Mone Rekho, Jol Diye Lekha, that received rave reviews in international journals and was hugely appreciated by readers.
Winner of prestigious Utsav Award USA in 2004, Sudhindranath Dutta Memorial Award and Janmadin Award, Biplab Ghosh today lives with his wife and younger daughter in Kolkata and runs a school in memory of his son Sunny.
Live life kingsize, do not let anything trample you down!
That’s Biplab Ghosh’s motto.
