Dr Jonaki Mukherjee is an award-winning educator who has spent over two decades teaching children of diverse age groups across multiple Indian cities. She is a certified counsellor from Stonebridge University, London. She has authored two books highlighting the societal challenges that women face. Jonaki advocates for empowering disadvantaged women. She has worked at the West Bengal Women’s Commission and Women’s Correctional Home. For creating social impact through education, Jonaki received the Women Economic Forum’s ‘Iconic woman creating a change for ALL award, Mahasweta Devi Seva Award and Special Appreciation. Award from Rotary. She has won the Aparajita Award for Education (Veteran) category in 2018.
Jonaki has taught at Delhi Public School for 26 years and has dealt with innumerable parents, offering constructive guidance to them with issues such as bullying, social network addiction, separation anxiety, lack of confidence etc.
Jonaki has been featured as an education expert in leading TV channels including Tara TV, 24 Ghanta, and Doordarshan and her articles have appeared in Ei Samay (The Times group) and The Millennium Post. She has been featured in The Times of India as a Counsellor and Educator. Currently she works as a Director in an esteemed Educational Conglomerate.
