Manjusri Bhattacharya (Chowdhury), born on 25th April 1955, graduated with Honours in English from the University of Burdwan. She began her career as a secondary school teacher, but her journey in the classroom was cut short after five years due to health challenges and family responsibilities. A lifelong lover of language and literature, she remained deeply engaged with the classics of both Bengali and English authors. Despite the demands of motherhood and daily life, she always found ways to nurture her passion for reading and storytelling. This is her debut novel.
