Born in 1950, Calcutta. An avid global traveller, the author's first love is the forest. Amidst his high-profile corporate responsibilities in India and abroad, he also pursued creative outlets like pen sketches, paintings, photography, and writing stories geared towards adolescent readers. Regularly contributing short stories, novels, and travelogues to popular magazines in the Ananda Bazar, Patra Bharati and Times of India Group and the author's juvenile novel, Samudra Manthan, published by Ananda Publishers has delighted the young readers. Though self-taught, the author's artistic talents have been showcased in several solo art exhibitions, all dedicated to social causes. Aranya Kanda was first published in Bengali in 2018 by Long Journey Publishers, Kolkata.
